Training

Training

SSI is the first licensed occupational safety and health training provider in Lao PDR, authorised by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare under Licence No. 4754, granted 20 November 2019. Training is where SSI started and it remains the largest part of what we do.

Safety officer certificates are endorsed by the Department of Labour Management, MoLSW.

How training is delivered

  • In Lao, English or Chinese — the working language of your site, not ours.
  • At your site anywhere in Laos, or at ours in Vientiane Capital.
  • Built around the jobs your people actually do, not a generic syllabus.
  • Lectures combined with hands-on practice, including fire safety and first aid.
  • Train-the-trainer, so your own supervisors can run the programme afterwards.
  • Evaluated, with the results reported back to you.
